Our Commitment to Online Privacy
CU Direct Corporation is committed to protecting the privacy of visitors who
use the CUDLAUTOSMART.COM website to conduct automobile research. For your understanding,
we have prepared the following information describing the ways in which CU Direct
collects uses and shares visitor information from your visits to our website.
We do not use visitor’s information for the purpose of direct marketing or advertising
(“junk” mail or “Spam”), nor do we share information with third parties for this
purpose.
The privacy policy outlined here applies to our services available under the
domain of www.cudlautosmart.com. You may have arrived at this site by following
a link from your credit union or directly through our site address noted above.
This site may be a customized co-branded site used by your credit union. Therefore,
this site may also collect your personal data. We neither are responsible for,
nor have access to, your personal information. For information on the policy

Information Collected and How it is Used
Visitors using the CUDL AutoSMART Program may voluntarily
register their personal information on our system (we only collect: first name,
last name, address, city, state, zip code, contact phone number, credit union
affiliation, email address, password used on this system (“confidential personal
information”)) Visitors are asked upon completion of their new vehicle or inventory
research if they would like to submit their information (visitor’s profile ID
(primary key of visitor record), name of the configured vehicle as year, make,
model (example: “1999 Cadillac Deville”), JATO Style ID for currently configured
vehicle, date/time record was saved) to dealers to request pricing and availability
information. Submitting your information is a voluntary process and not a requirement
to use this service. Visitors may also choose to visit the "Dealer Locator" by
clicking on a link and contact (by the method you choose) a CUDL dealer in their
geographic area on their own to request pricing and availability. Information
collected for price quotes includes name, address, phone numbers, email addresses
and specific vehicle information. Any personal, identifiable information you
submit to the CUDL AutoSMART Program will only be used with your permission when
submitting a request to a CUDL dealer on your behalf. When submitting a purchase
request on our CUDL AutoSMART website, you will have the opportunity to specify
what information you would like to receive and the best form of responding to
your request. All CUDL dealers and CUDL AutoSMART dealers are contracted with
CU Direct Corporation on the CUDL program to utilize visitor information only
for the purpose of contacting the visitor with pricing and availability of vehicles
in response to a specific request, and will not add visitors to marketing or
mailing lists.
Sharing Information with Member’s Credit Union
CU Direct Corporation has agreed to share member information to their corresponding
and participating credit unions regarding the vehicle requests that pertain to
their members so they may verify and communicate to their members about their
requests. CU Direct does not share this information with any other third party.
